Project
Our client was requiring a new, warm glass-reinforced plastic (GRP) roof to finish off an extension work to a bungalow in the area.
Our team visited the property to inspect the work done and map out the amount of work that would need to be prepped and taken onboard with this particular property. After inspecting the rafters, we planned out that the first layer of timber would be required followed by a thick layer of insulation with a board over as well as measures to safeguard the insulation.
The final stage would be applying the roofing system.
Work Done
The team at Pinnacle arrived at the site and proceeded to board out the first layer of timber boards. Once this process was completed, we fit 150 millimetres of rigid insulation into the roof.
Once this process was completed, the team boarded over the top of the insulation with another layer of timber board to sandwich the insulation in place. Once this was completed and secured, the final stage of the job was applying the fibreglass roof system to the top of the extension, giving the home a completely new character and a pleasing sight to the area for greener living.
Completion
The client was majorly overjoyed at their new extension roofing. With a glass-reinforced plastic roof, the team at Pinnacle Roof and Build helped the client to retain heat in the new living space without the risk of condensation.
